Morley

I was diagnosed with ALL (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia) when I was 4 years old. I survived, but I was left with a few lifelong side effects from the treatment. My parents decided that I didn’t need the testing as a kid — a decision I’m thankful for. It wasn’t until university that I took the opportunity to go through testing with POGO (Pediatric Oncology Group of Ontario). Through that process, I discovered that I qualified for academic accommodations.

What surprised me was how difficult the accommodations process was to navigate. Which is what led me to working on Morley.

Morley has gone through a few iterations as I tried to understand the problem better and the target users.

In 2026, I pitched Morley at the Okanagan Angel Summit. It placed in the Top 21 out of 81 applicants from across Canada. The summit gave me the chance to push myself, meet investors, and continue refining it.

Morley allows students to manage their accommodations via SMS. It provides proactive reminders to request accommodations in accordance with school policy, drafts student accommodation requests, and provides a private document sharing platform for sensitive documents.

I’m currently working on the next phase for Morley.
